Ram is an album by Paul McCartney and Linda McCartney, released in 1971, the only album credited to the pair.
The sessions also birthed future songs like "Dear Friend," released on the debut Wings album Wild Life later in 1971.
Paul is singing to John, and mentioning that he has two friends. One he has married (Linda) and one whom he wants to still be friends with.
It seems that John may have been jealous of the time Linda took from him, and reacted poorly initially.

All the comments about John and if that doesn't show you then look at the wiikipedia page on wild life and see that it's about John actually i'll save you the effort.
