  • @gunnerduke61 That is FABULOUS!!!!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to write...I love hearing the wonderful success stories :) Have a great weekend!

  • @CookingWithCandra My wife made me run to the store for ingredients!! Your recipe was THE BEST!! She kept her Half&Half but followed your advice to a T! She used only yolks and added the ingredients as you described. Looks like our coconut cream soup is a thing of the past!~ Thanks and Blessings to you!!

  • @gunnerduke61 If it's not cooked long enough, it won't thicken as much. I have never made a cream pie using egg whites .. only the yolks. If you added three whole eggs instead of just the egg yolks alone, that would add more liquid to your filling and would require more thickener. I hope this helps :) Thanks very much for stopping by and taking the time to write :)

  • I am having trouble with it being runny. Am I not cooking it long enough? My recipe is the same, but calls for Half & Half instead of milk and I do not separate my egg. Could either of those make a difference? I am trying your exact recipe next!

  • @CookingWithCandra happy new year to you too

  • @fullassault666 That's AWESOME!!!!! Thanks for writing!

    Happy New Year!!!
