  • I'm picking out a guitar and need help

this is my first electric but I've played acoustic for a while

My budget is $500 I think my set up will be Ephiphone Les Paul $300

line 6 spyder 15w $99 case: $71 Wire: $12that makes $490 so the rest I figure for strings, cleaning equipment like string cleaner. Then a little later, some effects. I was looking at strats too but can only get squier strats which are like $250 at most which gives me room for effects and maybe a better amp help plz

  • @timothyga01 hey well heres my number one rule on any instrument. try it before you buy it. personly ive become a huge believer in strats for leads but i prefer the les pauls for rhythm. play both of them in a store and see which feels more "natural to you" effects are kinda important but not necessary at first

  • you sir are an idiot...... it sounds great as it is and 2 weeks? i play for like 3-5 hours a day and reccomend you tune it weekly.

  • @FacebookChicano Alright if your gonna be pissy about this and have your pantys in a bunch ill do another video now that i know what im talking about since i obiously knew nothing when i made the video

  • @TheGr33k13 i'm planning to do the same but whit seymour duncan slash pick ups

  • @ivncdo0809 Go for it if you cant afford a better guitar. this guitar is great and all but i think i would of much rather put that 200 bucks to a brand new guitar instead. It still sounds great dont get me wrong but its more personal preference

  • This is my comment, Alright?

  • does this guitar have the slight raise in the middle like the les paul standards?

  • @nerfboy98 no

  • does it come with a hardshell case?

  • Honestly dude. I you can't get a good clean tone out of EMGs, it's because you either drink a lot or your playing style is sloppy.

  • TheGr33k13 where is made?china?

  • @timothyga01 go the epi you pay a bit more but wont regret it and go for a peavey viper and dont worry about the effects go an epi sg g400 worn cherry the line 6 sucks
