@iisslow While true, there is a little more to it-- while the Series 1000/Series 1001 IS capable of evolving, there is also the fact that the creation of it in the *first place* was a HUGE gamble for Skynet-- unlike the solid-state Series 8xx, the 1000s have no 'read-only' mode, only 'autonomous'; in short, if a T1000 suddenly decided that it didn't want to follow Skynet's orders anymore, there was absolutely nothing in place to hold it to those orders.

yea, this show was on its last leg and being in danger of cancellation way back in Season 1....so i guess there wasn't much of a budget for it. sucks, i hope some cable channel picks it up.

So what faction seperate from skynet is Weaver apart of??

Yeah that's the problem, since the show got canceled, there's no way to know. But there seemed to be a separate faction of Skynet that seemed to want to co-exist with the humans. In Terminator 1, Reese told Sarah that the humans were losing but Future John Connor was able to teach them how to turn the tide and was wining...which is why the Machines went towards the route of trying to kill Sarah Connor from the past.
The T1000 seems to be able to further evolve and are this faction.
