  • what happen to this podcast

  • Memory wouldnt be much of a problem if you prefer usb's that store maybe 8 or more gig's

  • Everyone who's going on about the 'wasted space': You can buy mods for the EeePC, that fill up that space behind the grill.

The laptop /does/ get hot, actually. Hotter than other machines, because it's small and can't conduct heat to other parts too well.

And the Linux Lover should take note: The startup time is comparable to within half a second, and that's without a modded boot.ini or nLite-ing the XP installation to make it faster.

  • yes it can, but it doesn't load as fast as Linux when you turn it on.

  • can xp installed on this device?

  • Theyre coming out with a 10inch on the same formfactor before xmas I've heard. Should have same price.

  • Well thank you (no sarcasm intended).

  • linx will porbobly reconise it, but if its formated with NTFS or HFS it will probobly not mount, but do not take my word for it..

  • Would Apple's USB Superdrive be compatible with this?

  • well, if you look at all the "wasted" space, you will hopefully see, that this "wasted" space is ocupied by the speakers :)
