Merian Cooper and Ernest Schoedsack created the legend! Dino De Laurentiis massacred it. Then Peter Jackson came along and revived it!

i saw this in the theaters the first weekend it opened up, i was only 12, but damn was I blown away.

Awesome posting quality. The movie is great. Jackson's movie makes good use of the concept of remaking a movie.
