  • Adjust Valves every 15K miles (HUGE difference in cold starting and smoke), fuel filters (both) at least once a year (best practice) glow plugs once a year (HUGE difference in winter). RUn a 'diesel purge' (brand name product) once in a while to keep it running smooth. Change trans fluid, filter AND torque converter fluid every 30K. Don't forget rear diff and brake flush every 2 years. Might seem like a lot, but this will allow any w123 to run forever!
