i have the '09 outlander vrx model 3.0 ltr v6 engine puts out 230hp 0-100km/h in just 6.8 sec when using paddleshift gears

Ugh I hate the old outlander looks but the 2010 which I have looks great! 0-60 in 7.0 seconds! Faster than forester I hate subarus

Forester is much more practible than outlander. Forester is unique in its class for complex of characteristics.. The nearests competitors in that class are all sucks if we gonna talking about complex of things: Toyota Rav4, Suzuki Escudo, Honda cr-v, Mitsu Outlander, Toyota Voltz - all doesnt reach at least one or two characteristics what forester does..

Forester is the best. There are advantages to the new and old versions though. The old ones 96-02 are more modable for offroading than the latest gen ones. The outlander I know nothing about but I know that the forester is an amazing car allround. I wouldnt haven anything else thats why I have a 2001 Forester myself :)

@DKingTaco2188the the offroad capability is not so different.and yes the 3rd row seat is fucked up BUT YOU DON'T NEED TO BUY IT!the 2007 model has a diesel 2.0 liter engine from VW and chiped it gets to 170 hp and 400 nm torque.i went on a 300miles trip.average speed 140kmh(90 mph)but i had 200kmh a few times (123mph)and the overall average consumption was 6.7l/100kmh which means42 MPGSo think again when you are going to say a subaru does a combined 42mpg on highway and city n fuck this music!

shit forester? The old outlander sucked balls, and the old forester was cramped in the back. Let's compare the 2009's....the forester is way better offroad, more fuel efficient, more space, doesn't have those but ugly 3rd row seat ( I test drove an outlander the 3rd row seating feels like sitting on lumpy rock)
