Green Cheek baby eats bananas for the first time

Our Turquoise Green Cheek conure (still being fed formula) trying a banana for the first time. We got her on July 25th. She is being fed by my husband, her human papa, Olin (Souketsu on Youtube)

We don't know her sex yet. But we're calling her Wahine (wah-hee-neh) for now, which is Hawaiian for Lady.

@xXkillerXx47 Do they make their cage dirty? Yes. And they poop a lot like birds normally do. Their poop and seeds even fall out of the sides of the cage as well lol. But things are manageable for me. Just don't be lazy to clean the cage periodically. But yeah most of the time they can be messy. But they keep themselves clean.

I used to have a parakeet for about 5 years before it had been killed by my mother's pet cat. I hate that cat. You should see if your bird likes popcorn because myne would go crazy for some :D.

@xXkillerXx47 Birds are messy in general (like eating seed), keep their cage in a easy to vacuum area and I'd say they become more manageable than a cat/dog shedding. They're also destructive, don't keep them entertained with toys to chew and they start testing their beak on furniture. They take a lot more upkeep than most pets.
