Greg Adamson, a realtor who works with Heart 2 Home Foundation, was recently recognized by his peers and was awarded the Good Neighbor award. This national award is given to only 5 individuals per year.

Greg's work with Heart 2 Home Foundation connected him to Utah Foster Care Foundation in April 2008, when Heart 2 Home and Oprah's Big Give renovated the Thill home. The Thills originally requested only a dining room table that could fit the entire family.

But with help from Heart 2 Home Foundation, along with $200,000 in renovations, the Thill home was transferred into the home this family could truly fit into.

Congratulations to Greg and thank you for your support of Utah's foster and adoptive families.

Greg Adamson was recently recognized by a panel of his peers and received the Good Neighbor award, a national award given to only 5 individuals across the United States. Gregs work with the Heart 2 Home Foundation has helped many families over the years and has recently shed valuable light on the need for quality foster and adoptive families to help children in care in Utah. In April 2008, Greg and his team of volunteers embarked on a 4 day project to renovate our home. Over $200,000 dollars in donations and upgrades were provided and over 4,000 labor hours used to amazingly transform our home from what we knew to what we had only dreamed of. Included in the many updates is a spacious 12 X 20 dining room large enough for our entire family of 17 to enjoy dinner each night. When asked originally, this was our only wish. The Heart 2 Home Foundation, along with MANY other volunteers granted that wish along with so much more we could only have dreamed of. As a result of this whirlwind week at our home, media coverage continues to raise awareness for the need for quality foster and adoptive families to rise to the challenge and open their hearts and homes to other families in need. Thank you seems so inadequate!! W e are grateful to know Greg Adamson and are privileged to call him our friend.
