  • Mhmmmm, so he's a professional photographer, and he used an fully automatic mode ??? With full auto mode, even a kid could shot such images. It's not about camera, but about hands and your imagination.

  • hmmm...how did you shoot with the sun directly pointed at you without having the foreground blacking out on you?

  • @Davidcuhls yeah tried that already. Focusing doesn't matter. But this comment was made years ago. So I've been shooting and growing in my photographic knowledge. Its actually not the focusing that would expose both the background and the subject. It is the metering and exposure settings.

  • @yangboi88 Although i never work with a beginner camera before, i only use 7d and 5d mark ii, but i think its the same, when you focus on a subject (in this case its the fisherman), then it wont darken the entire image.... However, if you focus at the sun, then it WILL mark the entire image dark... Please study about lighting before complaining.. Its just common sense when using a DSLR...

  • @yangboi88 He either put the exposure to match the foreground or he used a flash

  • er yeah, u can get great shots with a point and shoot, but the point of a lens or camera is the image quality, you cant see that on you tube. The 400d with the kit lens is very limited in term of image quality and details.

  • at 1.47 mins you have a different lense on how that wasnt mentioned , nice pictures too.

  • @mtnr1 then they dont know how to use a camera. I can get great shots with a kit lens.

  • @theone2225 you dont say!! id never of noticed the fact that the lens description changes through out the video in the pictures!

Course you cant get landscape pictures like that with a telephoto im not an idiot, the video is a show of "look how good this camera is and you to can take pictures like these" no mention of you can get pictures like these if you buy one.... and then add a £1000 lens, most people with a 400D have a kit 18 - 55 lens and wont get images like these with standard kit..

  • @mtnr1 not all of the photos were shot with the L series lens, if you knew anything about lenses you would know that a Telephoto lens isnt going to get all of those mountains in the shot like he had in his photos.

  • @punktur1 70-200 F/4 L
