  • Jesus never condoned sin. He offers pardon through his blood. Being an active homosexual is being a servant of sin and an unfortunate, inexpedient, and harmful condition. The Bible clearly condemns such a life style. Christians are not to tolerate homosexuality in the congregation. We are not commanded to hate them. By the way, Rick Warren is a CFR globalist and false pastor-a wolf in sheep's clothes.

  • Sooooooooooo you ARE intolerant of others. Oh you gays.

  • please do stay in Canada. Realize its an older posting, but the sentiment is still strong here in the U.S. (See recent Kennedy defection), same sex is doa in US.

  • That's the trouble: some of us do think. And when we do, we realize organizing our lives around the mistranslated ramblings of some ancient desert shepard tribe is probably NOT a good idea.

  • I'M BLACK I didnt vote for the president . I'm just amazed at how so many people of all races voted for this man. But the funny thing is a lot of people who did dont know what he stands for.Gay lesbian bisexual transgender etc etc just that whole thing is a joke whats next half bi ,1/3 gay with a splash of wicca oh and we follow Jesus too. Please there is only 1 truth Jesus and him crucified. When God said thou shall not he ment that he wanted you to things a certain way,Think!

  • Did he just compare Obama to Jesus?..lol

  • You're right - closeted men of the cloth who deny their sexuality and preach "a cure for homosexuality" while at the same time visiting male prostitutes on the side **cough** Ted Haggard **cough** is more natural - I mean, isn't that what we are used to?

  • I don't believe that's how the original Bible passage is meant, but it sounds good. It's also why I don't like Bible cliches.

  • Maybe this will help; "turn the other cheek" likely meant to take a look from tha different view. If you "turn your cheek", what you see changes. In that respect, Rick Warren turning the other cheek might mean to have him take a look gay issues from a different perspective, maybe even from the homosexual perspective. Or maybe from God's persepctive, which would make him more inclined to love and accept us as we are -God's children equal to him.

  • We two American men in love for 33 years, and married in Canada six years ago, are awaiting a YouTube posting of the video of Bishop Robinson's invocation since we don't have HBO.

We pulled the plug on TV in 1980 when Reagan was elected, so we have no idea even what to buy :-)

We are grateful that President Obama has overcome his heterosexual-superiority complex enough to try to make amends for his discraceful decision to invite unChristlike "Rev." Warren to give his invocation Tuesday.
