Lucy Tucker, 15, knew that expulsion and suspension rates needed to be addressed in her community through personal observations and her work with local partner, Kids Rethink New Orleans Schools. Lucy's idea was to bring the best in Restorative Justice practices to the system, but she needed to learn from others who used this technique. She organized a group to visit a Colorado community that had made great strides in this area and is now working to implement what she learned in New Orleans.
