http://www.RobFontano.com Auto dealers are under attack from third party vendors that wish to drastically change the way automobiles are sold in the United States. Zag and True Car have had access to DMS in thousands of dealerships for years and are now using that data to create a NO PROFIT auto industry supposedly to favor the consumer. These companies are making millions of dollars from dealers who are paying them under false pretense. It is time to stop True Car and Zag from creating a heartless and soulless auto industry. Stop paying Zag and True Car to steal your livelihood. Train your team to adapt and evolve in an ever changing retail landscape. Do it now before it is too late.

  • bad acting....what are you the Glenn Beck of the retail auto industry?

  • @dealmachine I was shooting for Capt. Kirk

  • Sorry, but 90% of the car salesmen I know are complete idiots who don't even know their own product, but are still paid a commission for some reason on what they sell. They have been obsolete ever since the Internet started providing consumers with more information than these idiots could.

If you ever think these knuckleheads should still have a job, get them to put down the cigarettes and come on inside the dealership and start doing something. Perhaps picking up a phone and calling a be-back.

  • @EdMarschon Ed, Not sure where you worked, but I know some very good professional sales people. There are also some very bad ones, as there are in every field, but that is the result of poor leadership. The point in the video is that dealers should invest in training their teams and improving them.

  • Rob You Are the man! We appreciate you making this video.

  • @EdMarschon 90% seems a little high. The good ones don't complain they just have moved to other industries. If you can sell a car you can sell anything. In the end you get what you pay for. The dealers and the customers.
