Valis 4 full story 1/2

All the cut scenes from Telenet's Valis 4 (1991) for the PC-Engine. This time, Garugia is up to no good, and it's up to Rena, her sister Amu and Garugia's own father, Asfal, to save the day. While not playable, Yuko, Cham and Valna are part of the storyline.

Valis 4 featured the best graphics and gameplay of the series, and the cut scenes were some of the best produced on the PC-Engine. It was, however, never relased in America for the TurboGrafx-16/Turbo Duo.

This set of cutscenes fills in all the gaps left by the SNES version of Valis IV. I had no idea what happened to Cham and Valna in the SNES version after played through the Genesis of Valis III. Never knew until now.

The SNES had more powerful video hardware, so the graphics look nicer in that version. Parallax scrolling and all that. However, it also had less levels, less characters and worse sound.

I wonder how well the snes version stacks up to the PCE version, aside from the lack of this animation?
