@sthetx clay pulls toxins out of the body. Some children become autistic from vaccinations and the toxins within. I believe its still being studied to see if it works for children that already are autistic. Doesnt hurt them at all to try, just have to get the right kind of clay.

how many baths did you give him with the clay? It takes time for it to pull out all toxins from the body. One bath wont get it all, it should be a nightly thing!
-
where did you get the clay from? magnetic clay.com or another site?

Please note you all that the gluten free/casein free diet is a basic in treatment autism. ;)

can i ask what kind of clay this is? looks too dark for bentonite...
-
I am unclear why you did this. Please respond this comment isn't hateful just confused

use e. salt and it should decrease the flapping or shaking of hand, teeth gritting, and stuff

No, I don't feel that Braden had any detox benefit from this bath. I just wanted to try it and share my results with the world.

I agree it's very freaky-looking. My son helped me put the mask on my face. In fact letting him apply it to my face helped him become comfortable with the safety-factor.

No I got this as a detox agent. It makes your skin feel really great, but I wouldn't say it does much more than that...
Is this the Bentonite kind? LOL :D doing facial to help him feel better. Nice thing is that you are willing to do everything you want him to do/give example. i.e.: like trying out his rice milk recipe etc. (if I recalled that correctly)

Yup I try to make him feel like he isn't being singled out. I like to let him get used to a new texture or color before trying to 'force' him to do something. If he doesn't like it (other than GFCF) he doesn't have to do it. I'll find another way. We took his blood yesterday and I put the numbing cream on my arm an hour before we went to be sure that it worked and it didn't burn or anything. If it's good for him than it better be good for me and everyone else too. =)

i know how he feels with 'colored' bathwater. i freaked out when I had to get in that stuff for chicken pox. i have a lot of 'oddities'... I can't look people in the eye (Mum yells at me about that), I've tried to do it but can't, I don't socialize very well, and am extremely agitated at times by crowded loud places.

He seemed to be fine after i showed him that the water was fun to play in. I also let him put the clay in the water the second time he took the bath. I let him smear it on the walls around the tub and I oput it on my face everytime too. He trusts me and as long as I show him that I will do it too, he is usually game 9Excepting for eating new things) I find it sad that your mom yells at you about not making eye contact, that seems wrong. =/

You mean like the clay that people make pots out of? You mean the clay that I had just recently made a sculpture out of? Interesting- reminds me of a mudbath...

I'm not sure it's the same clay you make pots and sculptures with, but it's similar in texture.
