  • This is the same style used on many PPG's. Now days lots of PPC's use these types as well. Some are even sold as new with these types of chutes. However, only more experienced flyers should use these elliptical style chutes. They are trickier to launch on takeoff and in extreme stunts they can stall out where a rectangular chute wouldn't... But they are faster and very fun!

  • Rather him than me! Is there any risk of the wing collapsing mid flight?

  • COOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • is this the same elliptical canopy used by PPG?

i thought PPCs only used rectangular canopies.

  • I could see one of those in a dogfight. LOL

  • Thunderbolt 340 Elliptical.

  • wow ... and again : wow!

the wing looks like a chiron, is it?

  • These maneuvers are VERY extreme and require an experienced pilot. I practiced a LOT with an emergency chute strapped to my back before I did this little routine in public. Please don't try to do this with your powered parachute.

  • Flat out crazy flying. I don't see me doing that kind of flying anytime soon, but I have to admit that it looks like a lot of fun.
