  • is this plane bullet proofed?

  • @bensontam yes, the SkyFighter v2 has been bullet proofed with Henry's fiberglass weave to make it very crash resistant. Please have a look at the link in th the video information bar to the build thread on RC Groups forums for more info.

  • can a e_sky simulator be used for any motor ???

  • sukhdeepsamra sorry I'm not sure I understand what you are asking. If you are asking if the SkyFighter can accept a variety of motors then the answer would be yes. But the motor must put out a minimum of 20-22 ounces of thrust or around 1 to 1 power to weight ratio.

  • that looks like a futaba dx radio what recievers are parkflyer recievers and what kind is better? i watched a vid of a lad stabbing a lipo with a nail that was poked thru a board- it took several stabs to make it start venting, then after it did, it spontaneously combusted - 3 foot flames blasting out of it - im running a lightly mashed lipo now - one corner mashed in 1/2 inch - so far so good -11.1 2800mah

  • pudd750 I was using a Spektrum 6100e receiver when the plane crashed. I do not recommend this or any other brand of park flyer receiver. I try to use only half range or full range receivers in all my fast planes and save the park flyer ones for the slower planes only.

  • edwarda333 the answers are yes, yes and yes. You can pretty much build this plane the way you want to as long as the dimensions are correct. Check out the link to the build thread on RC Groups forums. The link is in the video side bar. There you can see what other people have built this plane out of.

  • could i stack two 9mm foams or one 6 and one 9mm to make this plane. or could i make it out of 1/2 inch pink foam

  • thanx ))) :)

  • juzixa I can't give you a definite answer with the information provided but it seems a bit much for such a small battery unless it's got a 30c or higher rating. Without knowing the max amp draw of the motor with that prop on it and the max constant output of the battery (C rating x battery mAh) I would only be guessing. The best way to find out would be to use a Watts up meter (watt / amp meter) I'll send you some links to info on rcFoamFighters blog that might help you.
