@wlangley88 SRV bit Jimi's style, with mediocrity, and said so himself. Jimi just borrowed a song or two, and did it justice musically and spiritually. Only thing Stevie had a spirit for was cocaine in his coffee.....Like good fucking coffee needs any help. Just like his coffee, he's an also ran. A flash in the pan.

its my opinion that Stevie is a better guitar player than Jimi... but Jimi was just better at creatively... He was genius when it came to melody, rhythm, and metaphor's.
