@DickieAnginson I loved the Waltons, as well.

@scorpietta It was a wonderful show, and Michael Landon was the brainchild behind it. The '70s shows LHOTP and The Waltons embraced the "forgotten American ideals" of the pioneer days and Great Depression. The two shows were not alike, other than being about families facing adversity, but were often compared to one another. I think The Waltons had better writing and acting overall, but Little House had Landon. You can't top that. :)

@DickieAnginson I didn't know he had passed. Thanks! Great show!

@scorpietta And - my favorite character - Doc Baker, played by the marvelous Kevin Hagen, who passed in 2005.

Oh my gosh, when Mrs. Oleson flushed that toilet, I still laugh! ONly Mrs. Oleson can make things difficult!
-
R.I.P. Micheal Landon, Victor French and Dabs Greer.

I loved Mrs Oleson's laugh and crying. Katherine M is an amazing actress! In 2011 we need ANY new shows like this; not all this Reality TV crap:( LHOTP will always appeal to all audiences and life lessons. May God Bless Michael Landon, cast and crew. Thanks SO much for this 3 part vid:)
