Adding "Gate" to the end of a scandal was a way of making the original "Watergate" scandal less meaningful, attaching "Gate" to the end of a scandal now makes it look like "oh its just another scandal" instead of giving it the actual level of severity it deserves.

Just watched hearing on Solyndra and Sec DOE.
Waxman is trying to cover up the criminal acts of the DOE Sec and interfering with the the questions that point to the Obama WH and Democrats being involved in the Solyndra load.
They allowed the American tax payer to be subordinate for payback in case of bankruptcy.
Crimes were committed by Obama and Waxman in the loan going to Solyndra and American tax payers have lost 1/2 billion.
