Look at it from the Security Officer's point of view: He doesn't know you, and it's not as if you've just stumbled onto the site. You're there with bags, cameras etc. That suggests that you have actively searched for a way into the site, for a specific purpose. He's right to be suspicious, particularly with the heightened security alert state in this country. Think of it this way: How would you react if it was your property? You'll be surprised how easy it is to get permission from site owners.

@kenturbex I went there last Sunday played cat and mouse with him all day too, the builders were there at 9am on a Sunday as well as the asbestos guys in their white suits and masks. We heard his foot steps and hid for a while but when we decided to make a move he was there waiting. He's so mean :/

unlucky fella for getting caught went there yesturday played cat and mouse with the demo guys all day then climbed through a window THERE HE WAS MC HAMMER! we ran off and hid but he found us. you need to go at weekend when demo guys are not there, visit quick going fast

I remember the hospital in its hayday...my mum was a student nurse there in the early 80s... its like a totally different place now... I stayed in Cavelle House ( the nurses home right at the back of the grounds) with her for about six months, those nurses knew how to party... so, can you get access at the moment??? after showing my son and mum the footage and photo's on the web we all want to take a trip down memory lane. The Hammer looks like a retard, hope we don't bump into him!

Which part is this? This is right by where we got access. Can you get into the tunnels thru that gao?

@theSCAWP It has been some time since I have been there, I suspect the tunnels are a no-go by now. I agree with you that it is rather fun at night though!

i went on the 16th of february to do some shooting. the place was boarded up to the nuts, no sign of any security though.
