This remix is in a "tech house" style, a style which focuses heavily on minimalism and tight repetition, and often loops very short snippets of heavily edited vocals or sometimes long spoken word recordings. It's produced that way intentionally to give an unrelenting, energetic, hypnotic, trippy feel, and it's very effective in the intensity of a heaving nightclub.

@pumpkinpieguy1 Well, I do hate pretty much all electronic dance music lol. Just my preference. The original song isn't a tear jerker. It's rather upbeat. Seems like a great song to remix. I just was greatly upset by this song. It barely has anything sia in it. Just her saying a line, and it repeated a bunch. I don't see how it is a remix. Just a song with a short clip of sia on repeat within it. I think that's what upsets me the most. It's just a completely different song, not a remix.

@GoneToTheeDogs The term "House" is a very broad term. To say you hate the whole genre is to say you hate almost every form of electronic dance music. In response to Sander's remix, I don't think he was trying to do the song justice; he's a well known club DJ. It's not like he's pumping out any tear jerkers. He set out to make a club hit and he did just that. I doubt I would've ever known who Sia was if I never heard his remix, and I'm glad to say that I'm now a fan of her music.

@coshyn69 No, I'm not a "house" fan. It's actually one of the genres I can easily say across the board I hate. I can usually find at least 1 song in every genre that I like, but house music annoys me to no end. This song is not a remix to me. He took 1 line from the song and put it on repeat for a little bit, then just stuck in who knows what to make a completely different song. Were it not in the title, I wouldn't know it was from a Sia song. Just doesnt seem like much effort was put into it.
