This song is actually a popadom for just that.. Back then when this song was made, they couldn't put any explicit material in their songs, so they had to make it somewhat tongue in cheek. It is about two lovers and what they do when they are alone. :)

Good Lord no, its not too fast at all. Kings Singers are the masters of this. I think that the contrast between the 2/2 and the 3/4 would be less effective if it was taken slower. This is a madrigal - not a Bach chorale..!
