Back in 1954 "Seduction of the Innocent" by Frederic Wertham was published, which had a chilling effect on the comic book industry. The book alleged that comics promoted juvenile delinquency among other things. A public backlash ensued and the comics industry was faced with a mass exodus of readers. Joe Sinnott recalls worked during that time and the scarcity of work.

  • I met Joe at a convention 2 years ago. For a man in his 80's, he still draws beautifully and is one hell of a nice guy on top of it all.
