Severus is neither black nor white. He is grey. But how grey is he? Every time he closes his eyes he sees all the horrible things he did as a Death Eater. However, he can't deny that his evil side also enjoyed those things on some level. Dumbledore and the good side saved him from Voldemort, but it isn't enough for Severus. He needs his absolution in order to accept himself. He wants everybody to understand shades of grey. The Dark Mark and everything it symbolizes haunt his dreams and his everyday life. Severus has to live with the Dark Mark, and that makes him bitter. He feels confused; why did this happen to him? He hopes there is a way out.

The song was a bit too slow for me; I wasn't crazy about it. But the video itself was fabulous! Snape is such an interesting character, and you're video really hit his character well -- the whole neither black nor white bit.
