Kuli'ou'ou Valley Ridge

Very nice views at the end of this approximate 5-mile hike. The Kuli'ou'ou Ridge is one of the finest hikes on the island. It offers something for everyone from beginner to experienced hikers. Novice hikers can hike as high as they can, but do save energy for going back down. I personally find that it's more difficult going down then up. For the experienced hikers, you can climb to the summit and it offer views of the leeward coast from Koko Head to Honolulu, the Ko'olau range to Makapu'u Point (lion's head).
