World Business: In spite of a reputation for economic mismanagement and a history of financial crises, Turkey has weathered the current global economic downturn better than most. The OECD recently doubled its forecast for Turkey's growth in 2010 and the country aims to be among the world's top 10 economies within a decade.

  • @falcon010216 not anymore righ now it became 15th it growing realy fast

  • turkey is worlds 17th biggest economy.

  • Corrado Passera - Intesa San Paolo Bank

I kindly invite you to explain publicly why in 2004 you have hidden to the Judiciary District of Ragusa, managed by commissioner Doctor Agostino Fera, the bank account 10/645629 owned by Mrs Campo Innocenza Maria and why you have never answered to the exposals of denunciation dated 30th December 2009 and instead you have let us wait so many years without answering and let Mrs Innocenza Maria die in the pain that someone has when deprived of all her money

  • I m living in Germany so I m know west better than you ...

  • @Search968 - Cool. Let's see in a decade.

BTW, in case you don't understand. When your economy grows by 4.5% but has inflation of 9% we don't call this growth in the west. In the middle east maybe. But not in the west and not the EU either. We call this negative real growth.

  • @Athenaikos okey we will see the next decade. you fucking poor greeks. you are living our germany's many. do not say something to Turkey. try to grow in economy like Turkey

  • @ericdisney1 - Growth rates by themselves are meaningless. Many African countries are experiencing same or higher growth rates than Turkey. The Republic of Congo had a 10% growth last year. When you have one egg and you get 2 eggs that's a 100% growth rate. So, the base is important. Mature economies grow little, in the 2-3% range but their per capita base is large. Emerging economies grow close to 10% but it will take perhaps a century or more to overcome others because of moving target.

  • @ericdisney1 I assume the girls not being flashy is a mid east thing. We have a passionate culture, so expect much more care and much much more jealousy. for a while your affairs might suffer because of language barrier and cultural differences. you'll figure that out for yourself, dont worry. once i read that how exotic the ways of coquetry of turkish girls are so.. i dunno.. find that out for yourself.

  • @utkusarioglu will it be difficult for me to get a turkish girlfriend since i am not muslim. and my friend told me it is different in turkey than USA. in USA girls are not respectful and dont want to take care of you or clean or cook food. are the girls in turkiye more caring and they like to do women things and take care of you?

  • @utkusarioglu how come i notice that turkish people with money are not flashy like italians or greeks. how come they are more conservative dressing. not every one but most people with money in turkiye are not flashy like italians
