  • Godess, how I love this song! Had the chance to hear Damh in concert today and I'm not ashamed to say that I started to weep when he played Green and Gray. It's so powerfull. Thanks for letting me find it here.

  • Anyone else notice that the flute at the beginning is playing "noon of the solstice"? I only noticed because I listened to it right before.

  • * wants to find the lyrics to this heart wrenching yet beautiful song *

  • @kisameman96 "Point" well taken. I can see why the priest was a bit embarassed by it all. "All acts of love and pleasure are my rites!"

  • @DancingRabbit52 *coughs lightly with a grin* Nope, she's very much alive. You can't kill her, she's all around us. This song is occuring at around Beltane, which is around the First of May. Thats when the Horned God takes the Goddess and... well... you get the point. :3

  • seen him play and met him sooo many times before , hes such an awsome guy :D

  • @MurigenII Or perhaps that the Goddess died as a result of the Priest's religion, a religion that teachers men should exercise dominion over the Earth and use Her as they will. Yet in truth, though the Goddess may seem to have gone or died, She lives!

  • Such a beautiful and moving song. I've yet to not like any of Damh's work that I've heard.

  • @Camalot777 it means the Piper made love to the Goddess.

  • Just one question. What does it mean when Damh sings, "And the Piper laid his Goddess down?" Does it mean that the Priest died?

  • I love this song. Very nice lyrics too.
