  • would those cymbals work on a dm-6???

  • @NoLgU3N

As far as I know the only Surge cymbals that would work with the DM6 is the 12" Hi-hat cymbal and the 13" Crash (without choke). You may want to connect Alesis to be sure. I hope that helps.

  • Hello. I can hear that the bass drum's acoustic noise level is a little high. I live in an apartment, so I am concerned that I might make my neighbours angry. Is it that loud that you will annoy your neighbours below?? (i want to buy the studio version with the low-noise cymbals, so I only ask about the bass drum). Also, can I change the head on the bass drum (or any other one) with a mesh head in order for it to be quieter? Thanks in advance.

  • @RamboRabbit1345

The stock bass drum pad is a little loud. You can use a mesh head but, it isn't as easy as just replacing the head. There are a few more steps in order for it to work. The good news is, it isn't very hard at all to do. I have a video here on youtube show how to do this. Also, be sure to check out DMdrummer(dot)com under the DIY section. Many have do the conversion to mesh. I hope that helps.

  • I goot a problem whit my alesis dm 10 pro kit. When i hit the crash the tom2 pad sounds why do it sounds?

    sorry for my bad english.....

  • @retopyra

You need to adjust the cross talk (Xtalk) settings in the module. You really need to check out DMdrummer(dot)com. Do a search on that site for "Setting Xtalk on the DM10". Be sure to replace the (dot) with a period. I hope that helps.
