Just after Chheoki, the Naini bypass line took off on the right (seen around the 3:29:28 mark). As we exited the platform, the line from Manikpur joined us from the right.

  • sir really your 90,s videos had refresh my 90's rail travel memory.today the scenery of IR has entirely changed.yesterday brown, maroon VB coach,wp,wag1,2,3,4,wam1,2,3,4 wheeled wagon ruled and today new waps n wag rules.really your videos are awesome, rare, price less and nothing can be comapered to it.It's hard to find such rare 90's video.thanks for sharing it.:)

  • @arpanwcam3 I am really glad to know that you are enjoying these videos. That's the beauty of videos - they enable us to witness past events live!!

  • Cool... I never had the privilege of 4 wheel freights in my life.. They departed before I became a railfan.. :-(

  • @Arkchat921 Interesting! I used to love seeing the 4-wheelers! Miss them.

  • Yeah you r right and also mostly you will see the train passing from Naini Junction which is not electrified stops or has hault ... Shipra always haults there for few minutes and on the other hand blast through the Naini which comes in the electrified line .. From some areas you can easily see both the lines i mean Manikpur and Howrah Lines ...

  • Correct! In fact, I was telling a friend the other day - if one wants to go from Naini to Howrah by Shipra, they would have to be on the train an extra 40-50 mts - since they have to get to Allahabad, reverse, and come back.

  • @vb642 yup sir.your absolutely correct.this video reminds me my past railway journey days.:)

  • Amazing! I used to have the same feeling when I was very young. Usually, I would take the Bombay-Howrah Mail between Bombay and Mughalsarai. I would be extremely surprised to cross the Yamuna twice, yet end-up on a different route.

Did you notice that Naini has an unusual layout. The tracks from Manikpur and Mirzapur side meet AFTER the platforms - only the island platform is common to them.
