It takes a nation.

I saw the trailer to this film. It looked pretty fascinating. Funny how it's the same guy who made "Alone in the Dark".

Tunnel Rats was a good movie it was disturbing but not as disturbing as this one!

This could be the greatest movie ever made, and it STILL wouldn't redeem Uwe Boll at this point.
-
Apparently this got a lot of acknowledgement at the New York film festival, and Ron Howard praised the film. According to IMDB at least.

Uwe Boll has passion. He accomplished more than many people. Did he create bad movies? Of Course. But that does not mean he is not able to have success.
-
did this movie come out? i havent heard anything about it and though it is a Uwe Boll movie i kinda wanna see it.

I've heard "Stoic" is good, and his upcoming biopic on Max Schmeling sounds really interesting. Schmeling's life would make for a good movie, and hopefully Uwe Boll pulls it off like he pulled this one off.

Hi, okay i will watch this movie, because im interested in political thriller, and please don't watch his other stuff, films like postal or far cry are too bad!!
To bad Uwe Boll is infamous for House of dead and alone in the dark shit. Because if he started out with Rampage' Darfur' Tunnel Rats he would have been very respected director by now. Is the film called Darfur or attack on Darfur? Because i am finding it in stores but it is title attack on Darfur.

The version I've seen was simply called "Darfur". I don't know if the movie's undergone editing for a US release or if the title change is simply that. IMDB has two versions of the film, but I don't really understand what they're doing with that.

Thank you, Mr Steller, for your sincere and qualified review! I myself am a film critic (from Germany) and especially appreciate unprejudiced and professional approaches. Your commentary made it easy to leave behind the usual reservations and find some unfeigned interest in the film. ***

I'm glad my review was well received by another critic :)
Hopefully Boll can make more films of this calibre. "Max Schmeling" looks pretty promising.
