lame.... those are not to big to paddle in am i not mistaken? where is everyone?!?! No one in the surf there. All tow-in were failed attempts.. go get your pin tail out and have some fun
I live in San Diego and don't get up to Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo very often. But I recall one day in about September of 1964 when the waves at 22nd Street in Hermona Beach, next door to Manhattan, were consistently 12 feet and higher. This wasn't winter storm surf or choppy. It was early morning, glassed off, the tide was in so the waves were holding up well, really picture perfect conditions. I will never forget that day.
You wasted 1:35 of my life watching this non-surfing vid. I saw like 5 tow attempts and not one wave ridden. LOL. Please delete this video posting. Thank you kindly.
I was on the ski. We were doing lifeguard training. The waves that were breaking didn't have any shape so give the tow guys a break. All you guys with the big stones, where were you this last swell. Very few paddled out. Oh, it probably wasn't big enough . . . .
what do you call a guy getting towed into a 6ft wave? = HOMO
