Mike Waller is a former editor of The Kansas City Star and former publisher of the Hartford Courant and the Baltimore Sun. He graduated from Millikin University in 1963 and then spent 42 years in the newspaper business. Waller was a senior editor at The Courier-Journal and Louisville Times until 1978, when he joined The Kansas City Star as managing editor. He became the only journalist in the Star's history to serve in all three top newsroom positions: managing editor of The Star, managing editor of its sister paper, The Kansas City Times, and editor of The Kansas City Star and Times. In this segment, Waller talks about how true leaders engage others in the process of change.
