One of the absolute saddest days in my online gaming life. I will never forget how much that game meant to me.

Somewhere, sometime the perfect MMO could be made and I will still miss SWG the same way a person always misses their first love. So many great systems, so much great gameplay, and most importantly so many great people. I cried the moment the final shutdown message came because I know there will never be an MMORPG quite like it ever again.

My computer had a virus so I couldnt be with my friends when this happened...I cried for an hour and half straight when i learned it shut down...but I heard rumors that if Lucasarts gets more money they might reopen SWG lets hope it was more than a rumor

Me and my friends all sat down in that city that sad night and looked at the fireworks in glory but also being sad know our 3 years together fighting the imperial and gaining friendship was worth it while hanging with people from around the world. Outside my bedroom window was a beautiful sunset that made me have a tear knowing it is all about to end. We got up, had one final battle with the imperial and we won. 23 seconds left before it shut down. We all hugged each other and the game shut down

my biggest regret is not ebaying my account in time, i had a couple ships that were unmatched- prenerf components, and my prized blacksun helm i killed like 5000 blacksuns for.. then ther was the time i hijacked this kids house.. another time this kid wanted my stuff so i sent him on a 15 minute ride to the middle of no where to a house full of NPC aliens dressed in exotic dancer outfits and with insulting names, the spy wars of 07, some fun times..

@IxionForte there was a lot more that was going on in the game. a new PVP zone to decide the fate of the DethStar, massive city invasions, a party in the dune sea and more updates in 3 months than most games get in a life time.
