@dgl1962 - we will see when the texts of the amendments are published, likely this week.
I'm sure there will be a level of gross income one must reach to be subject to regulation.
As a commercial grower, the burden looks to be to me much the same as what the USDA and EPA currently require, and what every responsible grower should already be doing.
anyway, assume what you want ... it looks like you will be turning earth this coming spring.

@dgl1962 - They are looking to regulate folks who are in the business of marketing food items. This legislation is sponsored and supported by the grocery manufacturers who evidently feel threatened by farmers' markets, soup kitchens, food pantries, and community supported agriculture.
If you are making a living producing food, it may concern you.
I do, but I still don't feel threatened.
Why would anyone would care about gardens?
Even successful gardeners buy some groceries.
