@seephor Plaster has been around and a successful durable wall and ceiling covering for thousands of years only need periodic maintenance to stay in great shape. Additionally, it is a rock surface. Drywall on the other hand has a track record measured in decades, needs repair much sooner than plaster, and has paper for a surface. Plastered houses are worth more than drywalled ones. Three cheers for the folks repairing and maintaining their plaster
