  • The lyrics, the beat is beautiful, and if you have a broken heart it`s perfect. We shall all keep coming back for just a little bit more. Thank you JerryLeeRuleS.

  • @wookyhollow You're welcome! It is a beautiful song! =)

  • @martinpleass Thanks, but the credit all goes to Jerry Lee. It was poetic in the way that he provided the soundtrack that worked my heartstrings in such a beautifully aching way, night after night, and year after year. In my estimation he is the most under rated country singer of all time. His country albums form 1968 - '72 were all impeccably done, and should be recognized and revered more often than they are.

  • Very nice... this is the first time I've heard this live. When I was 18 I used to drive drunk around the hollers of my community, and listen to "Touching Home" the album that this song came from, and cry over my 16 yr. old girlfriend that dumped me for some rich kid. Having Jerry Lee to sing to me in the darkness of those back roads was tormenting in it's own way, and still to this day I can feel every ounce of betrayal that I felt back then when I listen to this song. Misery loves company...
