Well to be fair this is a pretty old idea and it's only a bandaid to buy us time for long term solutions which would be cutting carbon emissions since we can't do it ad infinity. Bill Gates is also investing in a form of nuclear that uses "nuclear waste" from current nuclear power plants as fuel which is promising.

The cloud whitening investment by Bill Gates sounds promising. In the future, it looks like humans won't be controlled by natural processes as we'll be able to manipulate it to our own needs. I'm sure that there will be groups protesting against it as they'd want the world to be as natural as possible. IMO we should be using technology to clean up our mess caused by human actions
