  • Is this your storage building? You made it sound like its abandon somewhere other than your own

  • @OccupyCyberSpace Yes, it's ours. But it's 200 yards from our house, out in the woods. We have some really private acreage.

  • Some of those salt (licks) blocks have minerals in them too.

  • @YiuTeub The ones with minerals are brown and clearly labled.

  • Very cool!

  • if only i could have kept some land that i had someone in the family needed money so they always come to me first then they just take anything of value and sale it and just walk away used and abused

  • @pfarnsworth84 Good investment for today, if stuff ever hits the fan, salt and sugar could turn into a form of currency, given their requirements for preserving food, and cooking in general. I forget what the amount of time is one can live with 0 salt, but with no salt the body will start to break down. That being said, it is ironic how plentiful salt is in our everyday diets today.

  • @nate7181 Also, there is pool salt. Just make sure with either that you are getting sodium chloride, not potassium chloride, and that there are no additives. Morton makes a 40lb bag of pool salt that contains no additives, is high purity salt, and costs less than $10.

  • @deniwest57 Seriously, a bunch of window ac units and copper tubing got stolen in my county; even churches were a target. A favourite diner of mine in a larger city nearby had their used cooking oil stolen. A truck with NY tags with a pumper on it, and I live in NC, they must have been pretty hard up.
