  • I remember that Simpsons episode, and I used to watch Melrose Place and Ally McBeal.

  • @Ninsegalover

Know what's funny? I just saw that episode yesterday!

  • It's a shme that MadTV is left dead and buried. Maybe the popularity of MadTV was low or financial difficulties that killed the show. It was a funny show ahead of its time.

  • @DesertFerret7

Yeah is was financial problems (busted economy again!). But I thought it sucked after season 11 anyway, so it don't bother me much.

  • That MADtv promo was during the funniest years of the show.

  • And that Pam Grier was looking so foxy in there as well!

But yeah, 1997-2005 were the show's golden years back when Will Sasso and Aries Spears were on. And even after they left I continued to watch the show until the very end.

Personal question, Allie: who was your favorite MadTV cast member and why?

  • Alex Borstein because of Ms. Swan, Phil LaMarr because of the UPS guy, David Herman for his Woody Allen impersonation, and Will Sasso for most of his celebrity impersonations, just to name a few.

  • MADtv Promo

  • Yes, that was an unintentional typo.

  • LMAO You "chocked" on a piece of chicken? Don't u mean "choked"?
