I'm a Scientist intro for scientists.mov

I'm a Scientist, Get me out of Here! is an award-winning event, funded by the Wellcome Trust, that gets real scientists talking to students, online. Over two weeks scientists can talk to hundreds of school students, without leaving their labs.

Scientists who take part :-
*Have fun!
*Inspire and engage young people
*Develop their communication skills (there's nothing like a chatroom full of teenagers to give you instant feedback on whether the way you explain your work makes any sense)

The next event will be 14-25th June (maybe I shouldn't write that 'cos I'll forget to update it... Tell you what, if you read this after 25th June and I haven't remembered to update it then, you caught me out! Let me know and if you are in the UK I'll send you an I'm a Scientist mug. Ha! Crowdsourcing my memory...)
