Eating a low sugar (includes fruit!) and medium to low fat diet (high in plant based protein) decreases the majority of minor issues that people come to the institute with (sticky blood, high acidity, yeast and fungal growth in the blood, parasites, high cholesterol etc). For a great list of vegetarian complete protein sources, check out this article I have written:

The standard testing that the staff do for your at the beginning and end of your stay at Hippocrates gives you a great idea of how powerful making lifestyle changes like this really is.

A great place to start this process if you want better health or to prepare for coming to the institute, is to try becoming vegan. Here's an article that clears up some of the misconceptions around a plant based diet:

  • There is only one single nutrient that is available in meat that is not available in plants... It is cholesterol. There is absolutely no need for meat in the human diet.

If you'd like to debate the information I present here, feel free to post a video response and I'd be happy to respond in much greater detail.

  • Thanks for sharing. I just might decide to start saving for a trip here. I know it will benefit me immensely.

  • Well when you feel you are ready I can connect you with someone who can get you a discount. there is a group going this Sept 27th and everyone involved get's a 10% discount and $250 worth of enzymes. So if you feel it's time to go sooner rather than later let me know and I'll put you in contact with them.

This is how I was able to go, or at least was more of an incentive to go for it :)

  • awesome. I was wondering how much calories you estimate you are consuming? Seems that with no fruit, and no fat now, you wouldn't be getting much calories from sprouts and greens. Do they talk much about calories? and what percentage of total calories should come from fat?

    thanks for makin these vids!

  • 10-20% of calories should come from fat as far as I know. More than that starts to become hard for the red blood cells to oxygenate the cells, which is more noticeable the more active you are.

Less then that and you can have trouble since our planet is more polluted then ever before, more oils help buffer this.

I will eventually add back 15-20% of my diet as fruit once my issues have cleared up maybe 3-5 months from now??...

  • Zak, Thank you for the information in this Video. I about freaked out when I looked at my blood in my Microscope this Evening. I had Literally no RBC free floating they were all Rouleaux and my WBC kinda looked inactive. You've cleared up my questioning in this Blog. Actually made me feel at ease. I've been 80% Raw Vegan for 3mo now. I am feeling better at times, but the blood issue is got to be why I am fatigued and short of breath. Bye Bye Nuts and Seeds for a while.

  • @mistar1 Health gimmicks??? Its not a gimmick to cure terminally ill people. As for the meat thing you said. Meat only dehydrates you, give you bad cholesterol, has no valuable nutrition and is very acid forming.

  • I consume much less then most would to maintain the equivalent muscle strength and mass. Roughly 2,000 a day, but if I ate cooked I would need more because of the lack of enzymes. If you absorb and use everything you don't need to overeat like most bodybuilders.

The HHI diet is far from no fat. I eat germinated seeds most days and then about 2-3 days a week I have nuts and 2 avocados a week. Plus sprouts are usually higher in oils then most veggies. Sprouted grains and beans are complex sugars.

  • Thank you for sharing your journey, Zak!
