We had an impromptu party at Stuff Towers and Sony's Party-shot was there to capture all the action. But what do you make of it - is it as impressive as it sounds?

  • Looks like a very efficient way to loose a camera.

  • The power adapter: does it also provide continuous power to the camera, or only to the party-shot? I'm aware it's an optional accessory. Also, I have the TX9, which is newer than the TX1. All advertisements say that it uses smile recognition only with the "newer TX1 and WX1." The TX9 is compatible, and also has Smile Detection capabilities, but does the dock utilize this or use a more primitive method because it's not one of those two models?

  • can i use it for timelapses?

  • it is cross compatible with many sony cameras.

it comes with several different dock adapters.

the sony website has a list of all compatible cameras.

  • Is this also compatible with the TX5? Please let me know!

    Thanks

  • @freakybob13579 in the video they said WX-1 and TX-1!

  • Will it work with ANY W-Series Cybershot camera ???

CAN I Buy DSC W-270 or DSC-W 320 right now and later this DOCK ??

  • Of course you're not going to use in a public area and you're not going to put this somewhere where epople are setting their drinks down....At family get togethers where you would rather socialize and have fun instead of snapping photos all the time....this device is awesome...

  • This is silly. It could get stolen, someone could spill a drink on it or fall on it and break it. Besides, it's fun to take photos at parties.
