one of the best and clearest tutorials i've ever seen. Thanks a bunch!

why do you get those strange shapes when unwraping? :/
-
Hey SpiritCrisis! Instead of moving the camera by the X-Axis then the Y-Axis then the X again, just select your camera press "G" to grab Tap "Z" Twice and move the mouse back and you zoom out with no hassle.

Awesome!!!

Just do GZZ to zoom out the camera when you have the camera selected. It is much faster:)

Great video.
I am new to blender and to CG in general, so this question might be basic and stupid, but I would really appreciate an answer to it!
Can you stretch VIDEO onto a 3D model, using UV mapping? Say if you want to replace the Pepsi label with a Quicktime Movie that stretches 360 degrees around the can? Is it possible?
Thanks very much! I'm a big fan of your tutorials.

@OmariDaiki there is a unwrap option available in the MESH TOOLS on the center of the screen.

When i enter edit mode, it doesnt turn out like yours, it turns out like the original model of the cube, and i cant subdivide it ;s how do you fix that?
AsaTellurium 6 months ago
@AsaTellurium does your model derive from a cube?
SpiritCrisis 6 months ago
@SpiritCrisis Yeah, is it mean to be a different type?
AsaTellurium 6 months ago
@AsaTellurium if it is a cube and you have used subdivision surface to model it you may have yet to apply the modifier. The same goes with any other modifier as well... If when you create your UV map it is still a cube then have you tried to configure your own mapping mechanism to meet your needs. If you need any further advice on plotting of how to create seems in a logical format may I suggest part two of this video series. I am still unsure though if any of these things are the issue
