  • I find it childish and disgusting that some misguided people find it necessary to turn a musical composition into a competition. The Seekers interpretation of this classic song is just as valid as any other artists version. Judith Durham's voice is superb and lends a haunting quality to this song. Those who want to criticize because they don't like this version of the song are being immature and foolish. It's NOT a competition, it's the expression of a musical idea. Grow up!

  • I'm 50, sitting on American soil, listening with my headphones on, reading comments while I listen. Watching judith perform. I remember hearing Georgy Girl on the radio but never saw her picture until a month ago. Never saw her smile to child on her lap and see that child melt in her arms. Never saw her belt it out on stage trying to get the most out of a lyric while staying in perfect pitch, up and down, back up, back down. She sang for her supper and she put her miles in. Plenty good enough.

  • This one and the Kingston Trio's version are my favorite ones.

  • Judith's voice is so amazing,I really like this version,But love both versions !

  • Yeah, well, there's a real difference between "cool" and "wonderful". That's alright, though. I'm sure there are other people out there who don't know how to appreciate real music and can't help but to open up their trap to say something rude.
