And im western by the way, but i never realy put it into conderation that i should cosplay. I love anima and all, but i nevery realy thought about it. You think you can give me some pointers on doing this stuff......im kinda....NEW to all this. I learnd about it 2 weeks ago XD

@ChiefSlayer101 Ahhh blush-blush :3 that's a sweet thought ~ Well, 1. Choose something you are comfortable in e.g. do not pick Yoko if you don't want to expose a lot of flesh 2. It is always nice to go in groups of people who share your hobbies and interests 3. It's for fun, so just brush off anyone like arrogant lolitas or try-too-hard cosplayers who make negative comments - if you think about it, would someone with a life over-do it and put down others? 4. There are no more pointers, have fun!

OMG THE BEST COSPLAYER would be like half white half asian:

@beautyx0 A halfie would probably have more of a chance of looking like the character, I'll agree with that :L It's because with a lot of the cartoons now, they have features from both, it's a bit like Hovis Best of Both :D

I've seen good and bad western and asian cosplays.

There are some bloody hideous Asian cosplays  O A O Nobody is perfect, and great example btw ;D

@kippatchi Well, im actuly a quiet person. So I was thinking of trying to cosplay who fits my personality the best. And im not shour if this "Yoko" person is a dude or a girl, cause im a dude. I mean, i have seen some dude cosplay, but is it ok for a dude to do it? Im kinda embarised to admit that im a dude who wants to do cosplay if thats a bad thing -.-

I agree with you and another thing is that there are all sorts of races in anime. A few examples of this would be Chad from bleach I believe he is half Spanish and half Japanese. I have seen mixtures in the asian culture half black half Chinese, In Hana Kimi there is a guy who is actually Spanish and Japanese. So this proudcutepureasian person needs to stop and take a second to realize that cosplay is open to anyone not just although yes I have seen bad cosplay from westerners before but no nee

Truth is, western cosplayers are horrendous, its like they purposely try to look bad. The few that manages to make it work are ussually girls and still nowhere near as good due to there face and body physique
