Simple and effective F2D Shutoff

Here is a video, made by Don Jensen in Los Angeles, CA, of his version of the Pete Athans spring shutoff. The design is simple: the fuel tubing runs between coils of a spring. Fishing line connects one end of the spring to the leadouts, while the other end is fixed to the engine mount. Line tension pulls on the fishing line, which opens the spring and allows fuel to flow. When line tension is lost, the spring closes and pinches the tube.
