Then records a certification of birth, There is no formal hospital record of his birth accuring at the hospital. He has on camera declared being born in one hospital then another. The Constitution is the basis of our legal system. But it still needs to be clear. In the case of "Natural Born Citizen", it is not. Although I believe, as do most legal scholars, that the Founders meant for that term to be the same as the one found in de Vatel's "The Law of Nations", they did not define it as such. No one else has ever put it into law either. Yes, for this to be legally applied to any candidate, the term needs to be defined. Sorry that you can not grasp how the law works.
