A strange song from George with an even stranger vid accompanying it! I was watching a documentary the other night showing peoples hardship and triumphs throughout history and used some of the clips for this.It`s hard to define whether George is actually singing about lost love or his lord here,probably a bit of both I would imagine.This song has a lovely melody and a haunting theme throughout reflecting George`s loss and discovery.

Beautifully constructed video - really loved it. It's a song about lost love ... or misplaced love .. I think ? The use of the ' L ' through out the song is beautiful ... even the music is lilting. The Beatles were very very good song smiths and could use the English language to stunning effect. In my view this ranks with She's Leaving Home for sheer genius word and music craft. Both songs give me goosebumps. Thanks for posting.

There are a few albums from the rock era that I feel I've
been in a relationship with since the first day I got them.
"The Beatles" is one of those albums.
At age 17, I thought "Long, Long, Long" was a emotional powerhouse--and I still do.
